Jeff Chesky – Founder, Chairman & CEO – Jeff was the Founder & President of Banc Insurance Services, Inc., where he pioneered the design, installation, and outsourced management of insurance agencies for financial institutions nationally. BIS was purchased by Jack Henry & Associates in 2004. In 2008, Jeff led a group of private investors in a buyout of BIS from Jack Henry, and renamed the company Insuritas.
Jeff has over 20 years’ experience in the banking and insurance verticals. Over that time, he has served as a Senior Vice President of one of the nation’s 100 largest insurance agencies, Director of Institutional Investment Management at MassMutual Insurance Company, and Vice President of Mortgage Lending at both Fleet Bank and Bank of New England. Jeff also had the distinguished honor to serve on the White House staffs of President Jimmy Carter and Vice President Walter Mondale, and on the personal staff of Governor Michael Dukakis.
Dave Grimson – Chief Operating Officer – Dave has a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and business growth. As COO Dave leverages a dynamic blend of strategic planning, team leadership, technology, data analytics and process optimization to drive exceptional results in the most challenging markets.
Previously held Senior level product manager role responsible for the strategic direction of all technical products with expertise in the insurance, insurtech, and fintech industries. Key member of corporate strategic planning team. First starting at Insuritas in 2012, Dave gained experience and rose quickly taking on different roles inside the company between sales, technology, operations and product. Compelling coach and mentor founded in a passion for performance excellence as a Division 1 hockey player at Sacred Heart University turned professional with the Rapid City Rush and winning the Ray Miron President’s Cup Championship.
Donna Jermer – Chief Marketing Officer – Donna is a transformational leader known for being able to shape, design, and drive marketing agendas. She is responsible for Insuritas’ strategic marketing development and execution of initiatives in providing partners with the innovative digital insurance platform that features data-driven marketing solutions, and an omnibus campaign framework that automates marketing solutions with speed, testing and analytics capabilities – all geared at converting households with multiple insurance offerings for holistic insurance coverage.
Donna is based in Florida and has more than 25 years of strategic marketing experience in multiple industries, from financial services and consumer packaged goods to retail. As both an in-house executive and an external consultant, she has directed, managed and implemented multiple successful business-to-business and business-to-consumer strategies and campaigns through multiple distribution channels. Donna is a recognized contributor on the Forbes Communication Council, and earned her BBA degree in business and marketing research from Bowling Green State University, and a mini MBA in social media marketing from Rutgers University.
Brian Murtari – VP, IT & CISO – Brian joined Insuritas in 2021 and is responsible for information technology, security, risk management and facilities. He brings more than 30 years of information technology experience in multiple verticals including military, manufacturing, consulting, franchising, and insurance.
Since joining Insuritas, he has focused on making transformational changes to Insuritas’ information technology infrastructure including a complete shift to cloud computing for its client services, hardening its infrastructure, revamping its remote-work solutions, building out its third-party risk management program and right-sizing its facilities to position the company for growth.
Brian’s previous leadership positions include chief information officer for Wireless Zone, vice president of services for Cloud9 ERP Solutions, and vice president of information technology for Thales Broadcast & Multimedia. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Central Connecticut State University and possesses many certifications in his field of expertise.
Brian served as chairman and president of the Wireless Zone Foundation for Giving which focused on supporting local and national charitable relationships for its franchisees. He continues to proudly serve as a Make-A-Wish ambassador and volunteer transforming the lives of children, families, and communities.
Paul Petrylak – Chief Client Relationship Officer – With almost 20 years focused on cross-selling insurance in banks, Paul has a proven track record of integrating retail and commercial insurance product offerings across bank distribution channels for consumers, small businesses and middle market clients leading to top and bottom line growth.
Previous leadership positions include: President & CEO of Chase Insurance Group, JPMorganChase; President of CIT Insurance Services, CIT Group Inc; President and Chairman of the American Bankers Insurance Association; Chief Operating Officer of a fintech startup XpertSavers
Prior to joining Insuritas, Paul Petrylak was Managing Director for Hudson Riverside Advisory, advising on strategy, product development and execution for financial services companies including fintech and insurtech.
